Trifextra: Week Fifty This weekend we're asking for 33 words about a new beginning.
worn path to the sink
tired arms carry dirty dishes
divergent from
worn path to the armchair
to watch tired shows
rustle of light fabric
scent of unfamiliar perfume
"Let's start something new."
yes! can we change the channel . . . please????
ReplyDeleteHeehee! Yes, Barbara, that, too!
DeleteI'm intrigued as to why the perfume is unfamiliar...
ReplyDeleteHi, Rox! "Something new", it's the only answer I have.
DeleteNice! Much more entertaining than old tv and dirty dishes ;)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely! Thank you for reading.
DeleteOooh, intriguing! I like the way you used repetition in the first couple of stanzas, and then dropped it in the last bit - it mirrored the point you were making. Nicely done.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I was hoping it worked well.
DeleteI'm sure he will be willing to leave the TV for something new :)
ReplyDeleteIf not, there may be SOMEONE new!
DeleteThis is a lovely response to the prompt. Speaks to a lot of people, I'm sure. Thanks so much for linking up.
ReplyDeleteThank you, and thanks for giving me the opportunity.
DeleteAh,something "new"?Unfamiliar perfume?Ooh!Interesting stuff on the agenda,eh?;-)I hope these two have an exciting new beginning:-)

Delete:D
ReplyDeleteI like this <3
Thank you! I appreciate you dropping by.
DeleteYep, new beginnings don't have to be earth shattering, do they? Nice.
ReplyDeleteNo, they don't, Kymm. And that's the beauty of it. Thanks for stopping by. :-)
DeleteIt's amazing what a little unfamiliar perfume can do. :)
ReplyDeleteIt can catch attention. That's for sure. Thanks for reading!
DeleteOkay... unfamiliar perfume? I almost missed that tidbit of info tucked away in there!
ReplyDeleteHere's my writing for week 50:
"Hang in there Shim, it'll happen for you."
"How can you know that? Why do you always have to say something positive?"
"If I don't, you'll never get it together and start anew."
What betterthan a new spice to liven up an old dish?
DeleteDid you link up with Trifextra, there are so many I couldn't keep up.
Thank you for reading!
No I didn't. I should. I'd love to be a part of this.
DeleteOh you really should! The new prompt for the 33 words goes up on Fridays.
DeletePlease join!
Slow movements to begin a new worn path. Nice.

Thanks, Donna, I don't do mushy often. But I enjoyed this one.
DeleteThe perfume was a very nice touch! I don't think about perfume usually but I could smell it.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Stacie, I don't often do perfumes. Most tend to make nose twitch. But it seemed good for a new start.
DeleteI love the repetition, the worn paths, and then...the unknown! Adventure!
ReplyDeleteOr maybe just a new television show to start?
Great job!
Thank you! You know, some days just a new show would be nice.
