Damned dryads!
Licking her wounds, she eyed the swamp.
The forest was out, she'd have to swim.
A mossy creature popped from below the surface.
"The nereids said to tell you, no passage!"

ReplyDeleteWell, this may have been a cartoon zombie prompt but, just the same, you still had me scrambling to my dictionary. If a zombie can't go through the forest and can't go through the water, what is a poor zombie to do? Very intelligent and interesting take on the prompt, Renee.
